new canning recipe
i’m putting this recipe on here basically so i don’t lose it for next year…
apple bbq sauce
64 ounces ketchup
24 ounces applesauce
29 ounces tomato sauce
1 bag brown sugar
1 1/2 cup vinegar
4 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp liquid smoke
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
2 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp black pepper
Mix all ingredients together in a large stock pot. Bring to a boil, simmer for 1 1/2 – 2 hours or until thickened. It smells wonderful! yeilds 20 half pints

monday – country fried steak and pierogies, easy peasey
tuesday – french dip beef sammy and onion rings…at the request of my youngest little, this is her FAV…
wednesday – hobo bean soup…i love this and i’ve been super hungry for it…
thursday – the littles and i are shopping with my mama all day so we’ll be grabbing something quick
friday – spaghetti and garlic bread…
saturday – out to dinner with my sweet fam
sunday – football kickoff picnic 🙂
