first day…

so today is a day i’ve dreaded all summer, the first day of school.  i’ve had such an amazing summer and was blessed to be able to spend the summer with my littles.  it has been such a great summer that i hate to see them go back to school.
i can’t believe i have one in 10th and one in 8th.  where did the time go?  joey kept saying yesterday “i can’t believe i only have 3 years left”.  i reminded him that his mama is a crier and we probably should avoid all conversations of how close he is to leaving the nest.

meal planning monday

monday – cheese steak sammys and onion rings baked in the oven with peach cobbler for dessert…

tuesday – stuffed peppers and mashed potatoes…comfort food  🙂

wednesday – baked potato chowder and bread bowls…at the request of my littles…

thursday – oven pizza, quick and easy…

friday – buffalo chicken stuffed shells…can’t WAIT to try this recipe!

saturday – wedding day = fend for yourself day

sunday – a hurry hurry day…i have a newborn sesh after church and we have a corn boil at church that evening

what i love about sundays

oh sundays, i so love them…we are going to church this morning then come home and have lunch and just hang out for the afternoon…big family lunches after church remind me of my childhood…my mom always always had big lunch after church…i really miss having sunday dinner at my mamas…but i guess now i’m the mama to provide that memory for my littles…
