today is my last day of work then i’m off for 5…can’t WAIT!  i’m planning on doing some cleaning, some laundry and LOTS of spending time with my littles…i think we’ll start our vaca off tonight with a MOVIE night…of our fav stupid humor movies…

tomorrow joey has a dr appt so hopefully that all goes well.  i think they are going to have to do something different to it as it’s still bleeding and the incision doesn’t seem to be healing yet.  i would say this is from how much his foot is sweating.  poor little guy, i know he just wants it all to be over with.

joe has been working lots of overtime and he’s on a different shift this year, so we don’t really get to see him much except for on weekends.  kinda makes me sad…

also hope to get a few photoshoots in while i’m off for these 5 days…hopefully the weather cooperates with me!

merry christmas…a little late…

as i imagine you realized by now, joeys surgery went well.  he was in surgery for a little under 2 hours.  they cut the tendon, removed the bone chip and reattached the tendon.  he was in quite a bit of pain for the first two days and still has his moments.  i rewrapped it for him last night and noticed a big blister on the bottom of his foot, probably from it being all wrapped up and sweating.  and it was fairly swollen last night (also bruised).  i take him back to the dr on wednesday for him to look at it.

we had a WONDERFUL christmas!!!  we went to aunt graces christmas eve and had a great time with family there.  and of course we had awesome food there as well.  once joeys foot got to hurting (and he knew papa was at our house) then we headed home.  the kids were SO SO SO excited to see their papa.  they went straight off to bed pretty quickly that night. 

christmas morning i had a boy up at 2 am wanting to open gifts and then a girl that got up at 5 am…once she got up we just all got up.  watching their faces when they first walk in to the living room is awesome!  they were so excited to open all their presents.  and i think they loved every.single.thing. they got.

my love got me a HUGE sign to put out front for my photography business.  it’s beautiful, amazing, exciting…and for some reason that sign makes it feel more official….he’s a good boy!

i’m back at work today and tomorrow then off for the next 5 days after that, thank gosh.  sometimes i really need a break from this place.

so i totally suck…

i was doing SO SO SO good at the pic a day and then i just totally suck and miss a whole week…but i guess i kinda have a good excuse…

so last monday i posted the pic of my face after i fell on the ice.  well, turns out my nose IS broken and i also have a concussion and whiplash.  i went to an ent (ear, nose and throat) dr on tuesday and he said my nose deffo needed set and fixed.  BUT he was going to be off until january.  and he explained there was only a 8 – 10 day window to set my nose before it fused that way.  so he referred me to a different dr, a facial surgeon.  i have been to that dr 3 times now in the last week and he doesn’t want to do ANYTHING to my nose.  and basically tomorrow my 10 days is up.  now i am just waiting until january and going back to dr no. 1.  he will have to rebreak my nose and set it then fix my deviated septum (since i can’t breathe out of my right side).  honestly, at this point, i don’t care if they have to rebreak it as long as it is fixed CORRECTLY afterwards.  basically my last week has been filled with tons of dr appointments and headaches, literally.

tomorrow is joeys surgery on his foot, so please keep him in your prayers.  i know he is really nervous and scared about it (even if he wouldn’t admit it).  i’ll be sure to update the blog tomorrow from my cell.

and jade hurt her foot this past weekend as well, i’m praying it isn’t broken.  she really wanted to go to school today because they were reading to the third graders…and i haven’t got a call yet from the school so it must be working out ok.  last night and this morning every time she would try to walk on it she would cry.  and this morning i looked at it and it was swollen and very bruised.  if she isn’t better this evening i guess we’re off to the er for an xray.  and i swear if she broke something i am going to put my entire family in a bubble for the rest of the winter!!!
