can i get a whoop whoop…

for FOOTBALL SEASON!!! yes, i’m not a big fan of football on tv…but when it’s my kids out there i can sure hoot and holler with the best of them (even though i still dont understand the game 100%)…i finally edited some of the pics from their first game. enjoy 🙂
here he is running out onto the field before the game, right after they called his name (and his mama yelled like a freak lol)

this is right after he came out of the huddle…he is center so he calls the huddle then comes out first (i do understand that much)
and miss princess jade…she was so excited to cheer, although you can’t tell it from the look on her face here lol
yes, we’ve had HUGE issues over how short the shorts are…she HATES them and normally when mama isn’t looking she hikes them down to her hips so they are longer. she does NOT want the tops of her legs showing. and she doesn’t care that the other girls shorts are like that too. now lets hope she always stays this modest. (i know bec, she didn’t get this from her mama did she?)

happy monday morning…how is your week starting off? amazingly mine is fairly well so far…normally i hate mondays.

i have really been getting my scrap on lately but i can’t show you any of it yet. just know in weeks to come this little bloggie will be filled with large amounts of layout lovin’ and art!

the truck pulls friday night were all i hoped for…lots of broken tyrods, some clutches went, a busted hitch, a broken rearend and lots of hopping. one guy forgot to take the slack out of the chain before he pulled (someone always does this) and one guy had such big mud/grippin tires on his truck that he was up on 3 wheels just digging and crawling the sled along. good times were had by all. joey thought it was the best thing he’s ever seen in his whole entire life. papa had a great time.

saturday was papa/kids date night…it was joeys turn to pick. they went to the truck stop for the buffet, to the park to play for a while and then to get ice cream. when they got home we all went out to camp and had a fire. we made smores and mountain pies. aboslute YUM! campfires during fall totally make me happy!!!

yesterday was the football game…joeys ankle seems to be doing well. he wore a brace on it for a few days and yesterday he played in the game. he only played offense so he stood out quite a bit. the coaches and other kids were soooooooo happy to see joey there and that he was able to play! joey is the center so he has a pretty important position. and they won 8 – 6!!!!! after the game the coach told joey “there is no way we could of won without big joe” which made him feel really good. the only bad part about the game was joey somehow managed to break his braces. so this week we are off to the orthodontist for a repair. always something huh…

jades first therapy appointment was saturday and i think we are maybe a smidge closer to a diagnosis. of course i have to wait until the school fully tests her before i know anything for sure. she seems to like this therapist and i was impressed with how long he has worked with children. she has another appointment this week for him to finish his testing and then we will see what treatment we need and begin that. i atleast feel like it’s a step, even if it is a small one.

hey peoples…long week no talk!!!

friday is almost here…so happy it’s almost the weekend again! and this week is my FAV time of year, the harmony truck pulls!!!!! those of you that know me KNOW how much i adore these. i love them like woah. and we always have date night that night…hot man beside me and surrounded by sweet trucks…heck YES!!! for those of you that are new to my blog, let me post some pics from past years…

this sweet ass truck is a dodge diesel with stacks…last year it was my fav truck…funny thing is i couldn’t even tell ya what the guy driving it looked like

oh lots of redneck pride at the pullsaaahhh…bliss…so love iti’m thinking i’m going to take my camera back again this year to get some new pics…maybe some to scrap…papa alan is coming down this weekend so the kids are crazy excited. he is going to the truck pulls with us. then saturday evening he will take the kids out…they usually do the movies and out to dinner. which means i get to have another date night with my babe. how about some mid-week layout lovins….this one is for the current prompt over at guttergirlz…the girlz really rocked it out…it’s a great prompt, go check it HEREthis is for the current prompt at the art is found (taif)…love it!this is for the current prompt at dreamgirls…such an awesome prompt!!! go check it HEREthis week i was so excited to have sunday with basically nothing to do except joey had a football game sunday evening. but as we all know, if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. joey and jade were wrestling as soon as we got up and “something” happened and joey was crying. some sorts of he pinched her butt which made her mad..blah blah. anyways a trip to the er followed…he had hurt his ankle. the er told me he just had a sprain. but tuesday the hospital called and yes indeed, his ankle was broken. so yesterday i had to take him to the dr for a cast or so i thought. but the “dr” we saw was a total ass, and i do mean that. he said he also thought there was a fracture but since the foot wasn’t as sore in that spot then it must not be broken. the school year so far has proved to be quite a time and i am at my wits end. i’m sure at some point in the future i will have a huge post about this but for now i’m just going to ask for prayers for jade. and maybe prayers for me to make the right decisions for her. out for now ya’all~kisses
