as if….

continuation of the joey and high school girlfriend/cheerleader saga ~ so i get home last night and as soon as i walk in the door joey is wanting me to read texts on his phone. turns out he is now “texting” with most of the junior high cheerleading squad. mmm, mama isn’t ready for this. i mean, really girls, my baby boy is only 11. he isn’t allowed to date until he is 16. he has no job and no car (that runs)…right now i am perfectly content knowing where he is every second of every day and i’m pretty sure he is content with that too.

and while i’m on a rant…it’s 23 degrees outside…and it’s snowing…is that really necessary BEFORE thanksgiving?

also, is it possible at all for kate o’brien to just send me my refund? i don’t want to fight, i don’t want to press all these crazy charges…i just either want my kit or my refund of $41. She told me weeks ago she was sending my refund via a money order through the mail. and still i’ve received nada. today, that’s irritating me. i’m sure i’ll get tons of crazy, angry comments on this but really…ya’all know it’s not right. it’s not right to take someones money and then not follow through with your end of the deal.out for now~kisses

happy monday my peoples…

the weekend was all i thought it would be and more. i got tons of painting done in the house (prep for thanksgiving) and lots of cleaning done. i have more painting to do but i can see a huge difference already. i love this time of year and i even secretly love that it makes me want to do tons of cleaning and crazy things like painting doorways and window seals.

how does it work that my kids go to a skating party and my son comes home with an older girlfriend? she’s not that much older, she’s in 7th grade and he’s in 6th. but he is still in the elementary school and she is in the high school. of COURSE she is a cheerleader and is blonde and cute as a button. i’m not ready, not at all, for this dating thing. hence why i’ve followed in my moms footsteps and made a firm rule of “MUST be 16 to date” in my household. i only have a little over 4 years to prepare myself for this.

it’s F.R.I.D.A.Y.

and i am thrilled beyond words…somehow this week felt forever long, and i even had a vacation day on tuesday…i’m excited for sunday, i’m not leaving the house at ALL (and i’m making stuffed peppers, yum)

the pics i posted below were from our photo shoot a few weeks ago with janine…she did such a fab job! those were just for you girls 🙂

tonight we are taking joe’s mom to get her hair done and then probably out to dinner. then i am going to clean her house up a little bit for her. tomorrow is still kinda up in the air, the kids have a skating party for football/cheerleading but one wants to go and one doesn’t. if they DON’T go then we are going to Altoona. if they do go then i have no clue what we are doing. i know i have to get some cleaning done tomorrow to get ready for thanksgiving.
