i am so excited that the weekend is almost here…kinda worn out with this week and ready for a few days away from this place! i just want to stay home all day and create!
last night i made jade a new stocking for christmas. i didn’t show it to her, i want to surprise her with it on christmas. it was a struggle, as must of you know sewing and i are NOT normally friends. but, surprisingly, this went fairly well…only a few bad words. i know she will just LOVE the owls on it.and look at my new FAB HO shirt…i love it for a couple different reasons…i love that it says HO on it…i love that it reminds me of rachel, THE original HO…and i love that it is christmas-ietonight i might work on some more stalkings…and i had an idea of making jade an owl pillow for her room. i know sewing and i will never ever be bff’s BUT i can kinda muddle through it.

christmas projects

this is a little christmas tree i made last night out of a recycled paperback book…i wanted a little tree for on my desk at work and i didn’t have one so i improvised. it was SO SIMPLE and turned out so cute. i love the little deer i cut out for infront of it. the picture of it is horrible because the lighting at work sucks…and i obviously forgot to move my cigarette pack before i took the picture lol
the kids and i made more christmas presents last night…they turned out AWESOME! i think this weekend we are going to make cinnamon/applesauce ornaments and maybe start some christmas cookies. this season i’m just all about making stuff and i am just LOVING it!
i believe rudolph is on tonight…i’m going to DVR it so we can watch it a million times before christmas. that is my second fav christmas cartoon…the grinch is my first. last weekend we watched christmas vacation, that movie never gets old huh…still as funny as the first time i saw it.

shithouse rat…isn’t that just a fun, funny as heck statement? i have no clue at all what it means, i can kinda remember someone in my family playing a card game that i believe they called shithouse rat. but for now i’m just going to use it to my hearts content, my new fav saying…it can just be used in so many different ways. one way i used it last night “son of a shithouse rat”, love that one!

i made some more christmas presents last night, i am so SO loving making so many of the presents this year. makes me feel all warm and martha stewart-ie. i would share what i’m making BUT bec is going to be getting some of the yummyness and she reads here. i will be sure to take pics and post after the holidays!
