Forever Beloved

where you try to think of so many other things but your thoughts keep returning to one thing in particular…
we found out on saturday that one of joe’s good friends passed away last month…
i’m sad that someone so young with small children is gone…
i’m sad that no one in the area called joe…
that he wasn’t even aware of the services…
that he could not pay his last respects…
i’m conflicted as to the sketchy “why” that we were told…
and if it’s true that really makes my heart ache…
his name was joseph brock…
he was only 38…
he was a staff sergent…
and he was put to rest at arlington, which makes me smile…
this summer we will be taking a trip there…
so joe CAN pay his last respects to his friend…

so 1 year ago today i made THIS post…and i figure since it’s been a year i’d do it again…just for fun!

i’m totally a lurker on some blogs…and i love being able to do that, just lurk…but once in a while i like to “meet” my lurkers that i have here…so i am challenging you lurkers to come out of the closet and leave me a comment…just say HEY…i’m right there with ya’all…but now is the time to open the door…say HEY…then you can close it again
