oh happies…

this is our girl, raven (a.k.a. pap’s girl)…my dad is OBSESSED with this dog, seriously…and this bone she is chewing, yep, pap bought it for her at the store. can you see how fat she is? i bet she weighs at least 130 lbs if not more. again, from pap feeding her (fig newtons and bread)…she LOVES her pap!!! i do have to say she is such a good girl, i’ve never really seen her mean ever. aaahhhh ming ming china love…the “special” cat that ate rat poison. is he freaking huge or what? i don’t know that i’ve ever seen such a long cat. oh guess how much he liked jade holding him like this for the picture?

oh april…

did you bring nice weather with you? i surely hope so…i’m ready for warmth and sun

april fools day…always has me feeling a little on edge. this morning jade decided to “trick” her dad by taking all the shampoo and soap out of the shower. guess how happy he was at 5:30 a.m. to have to go search for where she hid it before bed? oh yes, i laid in bed..pretended to be sleeping..laughing to myself..

this weekend i’m going away for a GIRLS WEEKEND!!! yes, so love girls weekends. i’m going with ana, cathy, angela and michelle. some of my FAV girls in the entire world. i wish we all lived closer so we could hangout more than a few times a year. we are all going to ana’s house in new jersey, bless her heart. i can’t WAIT! and you know i will take tons of pictures.

so the other night jade says to me “mama, i don’t want you to go this weekend” and she was as serious as could be. i said “why jade” and she said “everytime you go away daddy feeds us oodles of noodles all weekend”. oh my gosh, i was dying. i couldn’t laugh while she was there because she was sooooooo serious…and she REALLY doesn’t want to eat oodles of noodles all weekend ha ha. oh little jadie, she makes me laugh.

monday monday

oh wow…i haven’t blogged in forever…i promise to do better from now on

so this past weekend was sure a fun one…friday night jade and i went to “girls spa night” at my friend amys house. we all spent the entire evening in our jammies and pampering ourselves, such fun!!!

saturday we went and met up with cathy and her husband terry and had lunch together…such fun…i can’t believe i get to see her two weekends in a row!!! saturday evening we went to the talent show at the kids school…i loved it!!! one little girl rocked “hey there delilah” on her electric guitar…i think she was in 3rd grade!!!

and yesterday after church we just hung around the house…i cleaned out my closet (insane mess) and we watched a few movies. good times!

last week i was totally stoked to receive my issue of somerset memories in the mail with my article in it that i wrote about my mini…sooooo excited about that!!! it was beautifully laid out…i still can’t believe it! and i was shocked that there were two other layouts of jade in it!!!
