i ♥ projects!!!

i really really ♥ home improvement projects…joe, not so much. well we have a HUGE project coming up this fall and i am sooooo excited i can’t wait. i just want to rush home right now and jump in and get started. we are switching joey’s bedroom and the spare room. and making the junk room into a hallway. i have SUCH exciting plans for the hallway, spare room and joeys new room. hopefully all projects will be done by halloween **fingers crossed** i’m also super loving etsy today. i have found so so so many CUTE things on there to go with my *new* rooms! i can’t wait to order some of them. wheeeeeeee……

tonight is football practice again…and hoagie pickup. you know what that means, delivering all those darn hoagies to people. yuck! and tomorrow having to drag them all in here to work, double yuck!

i’m SO looking forward to this weekend…no real “plans” yet…just tons of family time! movie and pizza night tomorrow night…saturday some cleaning and laundry then some time hanging out at camp, cooking on the fire, kids exploring the woods, mama maybe scrapping in nature…good times!!! sunday is church and then FREE DAY AT THE FAIR! woo hoo…love free day. the animals don’t stink yet, everything isn’t dirty yet and best of all, it’s FREE to park and get in!

happy hump day + ART…

i am sooooooo thankful this week is half over! it has felt forever long for some reason…and i’ve been sooooo tired…last night during football practice i actually fell asleep in my chair, i’ve never EVER in my life slept sitting straight up in a chair…

so, as i told you last week, i felt the art was calling to me again…and this past weekend i answered her call…and made THREE entries for my art journal…i also made a mixed media collage but i haven’t taken pics of it yet…soooooo loved getting dirty, messy and painty…i think my dry spell might be over…WOOT! here is what i made…

wheeeeee…..

oh sunny tuesday, i love you so….the sun has been out ALL DAY and it’s 90 outside…the only thing better would be if i wasn’t here and could actually be outside enjoying it!

i had a fab photoshoot last night with such a beautiful family! their kids are sooo cute and sooo photogenic…they were full of smiles 🙂 i’m dropping off the disk tonight and hope they like them.
jade and i decided on sunday to have a quick, random and quirky little photoshoot of just us girls. we LOVE days like that, we just dress up in random outfits that make US happy and head on out to take tons of pics. jade normally takes some props along, lol, thats why we like those days…there are no rules! here are some shots from that…
look at this outfit…is this a typical jade outfit or what…and the hair, she soooooo was sporting the 80’s hair…side ponytail and headband, lol…all her idea might i add…

and lastly, this is sooooo typical jade…random, quirky and funny as HECK!

off tonight to football practice from 5 – 7:15 and going to pick up a catalog to pick out the cheer outfits for this year…can’t WAIT!out for now~kisses
