…DROID…04/31…

this is fridays pic of the day…my new DROID phone…so far i’m in complete love with it.  i’m going to guess it’s verizons version of the iphone.  i just LOVE all the apps i can get on it…right now my fav two are pandora and calorie counter.  the calorie counter actually has a barcode scanner, how cool is THAT?!?!  if i don’t feel like putting all the info in for a food or searching all over for it i can just scan the barcode and it comes right up what it is, the nutritional info and i’m able to add it to my daily food diary.  and pandora, oh my gosh, how i love it.  super excited to go for a walk now and be able to listen to the radio the entire time…

**swimming’s no fun without a book**

so my new fav show this season is “the middle” on abc…it is stinkin’ hilarious!
i can so so so relate to this family…this past week the mom gave a speech about “someday you kids are going to need each other” and i looked at joe and said “oh my GOSH…i’ve given that exact same speech!!!”…
the youngest boy brick (Atticus Shaffer) just makes the show…
he whispers and repeats stuff to himself and joey totally did that when he was little…
the oldest boy axl reminds me of joey now…a typical teenage boy…
anyone else love this show?

the dog has emphysema and had to wear an oxygen mask (and diaper)…
funny stuff…

happy rainy thursday…03/31…

i can’t even believe i’m going to say this BUT if it would snow just a tiny little bit (only in the yard of course, not on the roads) it might increase everyones holiday spirit just a bit…it just doesn’t seem like the holidays are close without snow.  i know, i can’t believe i said that either.  and BELIEVE ME, i’m certainly not complaining that i haven’t had to drive on crappy roads!
this is my pic of the day…it’s the mess that is also known as my desk…this is what happens when i get in “christmas card mode”…it looks like a tornado hit it…
and here we have lizard e. lizard (aka elizabeth taylor)…i’m shocked at how much i don’t mind her, although i don’t really want her living at my house forever.  i guess all in all she isn’t THAT bad…
