i was doing SO SO SO good at the pic a day and then i just totally suck and miss a whole week…but i guess i kinda have a good excuse…
so last monday i posted the pic of my face after i fell on the ice. well, turns out my nose IS broken and i also have a concussion and whiplash. i went to an ent (ear, nose and throat) dr on tuesday and he said my nose deffo needed set and fixed. BUT he was going to be off until january. and he explained there was only a 8 – 10 day window to set my nose before it fused that way. so he referred me to a different dr, a facial surgeon. i have been to that dr 3 times now in the last week and he doesn’t want to do ANYTHING to my nose. and basically tomorrow my 10 days is up. now i am just waiting until january and going back to dr no. 1. he will have to rebreak my nose and set it then fix my deviated septum (since i can’t breathe out of my right side). honestly, at this point, i don’t care if they have to rebreak it as long as it is fixed CORRECTLY afterwards. basically my last week has been filled with tons of dr appointments and headaches, literally.
tomorrow is joeys surgery on his foot, so please keep him in your prayers. i know he is really nervous and scared about it (even if he wouldn’t admit it). i’ll be sure to update the blog tomorrow from my cell.
and jade hurt her foot this past weekend as well, i’m praying it isn’t broken. she really wanted to go to school today because they were reading to the third graders…and i haven’t got a call yet from the school so it must be working out ok. last night and this morning every time she would try to walk on it she would cry. and this morning i looked at it and it was swollen and very bruised. if she isn’t better this evening i guess we’re off to the er for an xray. and i swear if she broke something i am going to put my entire family in a bubble for the rest of the winter!!!
