weight loss {january}
and here we are, one month into the weight loss journey for 2012. is it just me or did this past month fly?
this month i lost 10 pounds. i am pretty very pleased with that. i worked out like crazy and really tried to follow WW as close as i could. i’m proud of it and i own it. i did stumble off the wagon a few times and got right back on.
this month i taught my exercise classes twice a week, i’ve added some new things to our workouts to just bump them up a notch and i think we are all loving it. joey and i did some p90x (aka death) and i bought some new workout videos that i LOVE. i bought the brazilian butt lift dvd’s. basically i spent this entire month with sore muscles 🙂
and i hope next month is filled with more of the same.

ps…did you ever notice that if there is a picture posted of me it normally involves my sweet pup? he is normally only one step behind me everywhere i go.
meal planning monday
ya’all know i love to try new recipes, especially if they are healthy AND taste good. so this week will feature a lot of new recipes we’ve not had in the cutler household yet. i will make sure to report back to ya’all about them. i will just update this post here each day and let ya know what the littles and i thought.
monday – tacos, quick and easy…plus its the littles fav meal. i’m going to double the meat and set half aside for wednesday nights meal.
tuesday – tomato tortellini soup…sounds soooo good, can’t wait to try it!! we allllll love this…it was seriously amazing and we will deffo be making it again!
wednesday – mexican corn bread pizza…in my household you just can NOT go wrong when mixing corn bread + taco meat. again, another winner…the only thing i didn’t care for was i think i added too much corn to the crust but that’s a simple adjustment to make
thursday – sloppy joe mac and cheese…my oldest little thought this recipe sounded amazing, combining his two fav things. i didn’t get a chance to make this one yet, jade had to stay after and cheer so we had to have a hurry meal of just fat free hotdogs
friday – subway night 🙂
saturday – out to dinner with the fam
sunday – steaks on the grill, twice baked potatoes and garlic crescent rolls…screams COMFORT food!
