i’m here…

i guess i took a little mini vaca from my blog…it wasn’t by choice though, i have some sick kiddos at home…the stomach flu invaded my house…let me just say i HATE the stomach flu…HATE…i’m hoping they are all on the mend now…
so here is something exciting…like crazy amounts of exciting…
and look about half way down the page…
eeeekkkkk, how exciting is THAT!!!
so we had a pretty fun weekend (up until the flu knocked at our door)…
friday night joey staid at a friends house so joe and i took jade out to dinner…
saturday morning we got up and i decided i wanted my hair colored…like right now…
we headed out to clearfield and took jade to breakfast at the truck stop…
and then i was off for my hair color…
i went with my natural color as a base and then red and blonde highlights…
i love it!!!!!

this is mings newest thing…

now we all know he isn’t the smartest cat (since the rat poison incident)…
i got a new area rug in the living room…and he thinks he’s hidden…
and he naps under it every single day…thinking the entire time we can’t see him…
yes, he’s not smart, but he sure is entertaining!!!

discussions with my kids are THE most fun, i love them…

jade– “i think i’ve lost my affrotight” (appetite)
this one KILLS me!!!

me – “joey, are you still seeing (insert name here)?”
joey – “no, we broke up”
me – “but you just started seeing her YESTERDAY”

jade– “joey, do your dove rap again”
joey– “rrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrr bird bird word”
this was a conversation i overheard while they were doing dishes and i died laughing

joey– “pip pip e doodlie dooh” (in a sing song voice while doing the hat and cane
dance like michigan j. frog use to do)
me– laughing like a freak
jade– “why do YOU guys always get to have all the fun” (which translates to i’m mad that i
have to go to bed)

funk-a-delic

so i was reading emily falconbridges blog and she had this cool site listed…be funky…to kinda edit and play with your pics…pretty cool site actually…
i’m thinking this picture of jade would be super cool as the front on her birthday invitations…cool idea huh?
and i just ADORE the old look of this one of joe and i…simply adore it…would LOVE to print it and scrap it!!!!
again with the old, vintage look…just adore how they turned out…
