for not being too harsh on me…mondays are normally not my friend but today actually hasn’t kicked my ass…which is a nice change…

we had a GREAT weekend!!! friday night we went to altoona and had a nice family dinner at outback…i could not believe how dead the place was. usually it’s so packed you wait forever…then we did some shopping and i bought a new outfit at old navy…my first denim mini in YEARS! we got groceries then headed home…

saturday joe and joey went with the work group from the church so jade and i had a girls day, well more like a girls morning…we went out for breakfast and then home to scrap/create…we had a GREAT time!!! i worked on a painting i’m doing (on commission) for a guy i graduated with…i super ADORE how it’s turned out so far…saturday afternoon we went to a birthday party for joe’s mom (she turned 70)…we had an ok time although i’m not so much for a few of the people that were there…and spiteful things were done on purpose to make us feel out of place…but hey, at least joe’s mom had a good time!!! saturday evening we went to bob and bobbi’s and sat on their patio and enjoyed a fire and mountain pies…GREAT times!!!

sunday we spent the day at home…joe had thrown his back/hip out friday night and he wasn’t up to sitting in a pew at church…and jade has a bad cough/sore throat…so we staid home and nursed the sick…i made some quick pigs for dinner (YUM!)…and we hung out watching movies…a great end to a great weekend!
