today we are going school shopping with my mama and my littles…i looooove shopping days with my mama and treasure it as we don’t get them very often anymore…and i’m sure she’ll enjoy the day out of the house…my kids LOVE spending the day with their nanny {aka getting spoiled}…and we’ll all go out to dinner before heading home…PERFECTION!!!!

new canning recipe
i’m putting this recipe on here basically so i don’t lose it for next year…
apple bbq sauce
64 ounces ketchup
24 ounces applesauce
29 ounces tomato sauce
1 bag brown sugar
1 1/2 cup vinegar
4 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp liquid smoke
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
2 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp black pepper
Mix all ingredients together in a large stock pot. Bring to a boil, simmer for 1 1/2 – 2 hours or until thickened. It smells wonderful! yeilds 20 half pints
