this is the BEST zucchini pie i’ve ever had…my fam loves it!!! and if your like us, normally at this time of year you have so many zucchini’s you don’t know what to do with them all.

1 medium zucchini, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
1 unbaked pie shell (unbaked is VERY important)
cinnamon to taste

cook zucchini in small amount of water in a saucepan until tender, drain. combine zucchini with sugar, milk, eggs, flour and vanilla in blender. process until well mixed. pour into UNBAKED pie shell, sprinkle with cinnamon. bake at 425° for 10 min then reduce temp to 350° and continue to bake for 30 min.

pugutch…

i’ve had a few requests as to what exactly pugutch is…it is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! it’s polish, like piergoies, haluski and kielbosi and sauerkraut. some of our FAV recipes in our house. here is the recipe…it’s totally DELISH!

Pagutch (pag uch)

2 loaves frozen bread dough
5 pounds potatoes, pared
1 pound cheddar cheese, shredded
3/4 stick margarine or butter
1 onion, diced

Thaw bread dough in frige overnight. Saute onion in butter. Boil potatoes and mash. Add shredder cheese and beat. Stir in butter and onion. Pat or roll one loaf of bread dough to fit in greased jelly-roll pan. Spread all of the potato mixture on top. Roll second loaf of bread dough to put on top. Seal all edges.Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

i’ve also made it with crescent rolls and instant potatoes. still just as yummy. also, i like to cook my onions until they are a nice golden brown.

enjoy!!!
