meal planning monday

monday – lasagna soup and  parmesan pull-apart bread

tuesday – hurry night since i have a shoot…i’m thinking oven pizza

wednesday – bubble pizza…quick, easy and one of our favs

thursday – crockpot italian chicken…sounds delish and i can’t wait to try it!

friday – rush rush football friday sooooooo something quick and easy like the concession stand 🙂

saturday – i have a wedding this day so no cooking for me

sunday – haluski (recipe below)

Ingredients:
1 head green cabbage, sliced
8 ounces egg or haluski noodles
1 large onions, sliced
1 pound bacon, diced
salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
In large skillet, add bacon, cook until crisp. Remove bacon and drain on paper towel lined dish, then transfer to a bowl, set aside.
Add onions to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, stir, cook until onions are golden. Add cabbage, water, salt, pepper and garlic powder, stir, cover, cook until cabbage almost tender, about 8 to 10 minutes.
While the cabbage cooks, add noodles to boiling water. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain.
Add noodles and bacon to the skillet with cabbage, season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Toss well. Enjoy!
