this…it is a poem that joey wrote in school. when i read it, i cried. i kept asking him if he copied it from somewhere or the teacher helped and he told me no, it was an assignment for english class. i am amazed and so proud of this…of course i might be partial.
joe who loves earth
i am active and knowledgeable
i wonder if i will live peacefully
i hear the banging on a hollow tree
i see fog over the sea
i want peace on earth
i am active and knowledgeable
i pretend to have a good life
i feel my time will come
i touch the stars in the night sky
i worry if i shall have another worry again
i cried the day they split

i understand he is good
i say never let the good stuff die
i dream peace will live
