rain…ugh

is it EVER going to stop raining and actually be nice out? i am so SO worn out with the rain…every day is soooo dreary. hopefully this weekend will be nice so we can get out the 4-wheelers and go for a ride.
i had crazy happy scrappies in my mail yesterday…the new kit from tally. holy CRAP…it is an amazing kit! it’s also totally sold out, sorry…you would not believe everything jam packed in there. i highly advise you girls check out the tally kits and next month keep your eye out for them!!!

art fest…

oh yes, today i went to an art festival…miss jade, my friend jen and i. honestly, i had built it up to be quite a bit more than it actually was. it had some food vendors, about 20 craft/art vendors and a band. i wanted soooooo much more….what i REALLY wanted was someone doing henna. i have SUCH a desire for henna! i also wanted like “shows”…people doing different styles of dance, different music everywhere…surrounding you, different styles of food…THAT is what i want when i go to an art festival. but none the less, it was a fun girls day out. we had lunch at applebees and did some shopping. miss jade LOVED girls day! thanks jen for the girls day out!

i have also taken on a new project…it’s all new to me and so far the venture has been a crazy fun one. i will keep it a secret until i finish it (hopefully tomorrow) and then i will post pics.

and tomorrow we will be finishing joeys science fair project. he did such a cool project…the corrosiveness of soda. by the way, pepsi was the worst. we did mt. dew, sierra mist, pepsi and water as our control. tomorrow we will take on the story board and finishing up the report. maybe i will post pics of that too.

i am soooooooo super glad it’s friday, you have no idea…seriously, some days, i can’t stand my job. it’s sad actually how much i look forward to the weekends and two days away from this place and these people…and in honor of these “fab” people i am posting the following two pics…

i am hoping to get some scrappy time in tonight…i have some fresh, new pics that are calling my name. and since it’s rainy and yucky out, that should be no problem. loooooove late night scrappy time!little mr. joeys field trip was yesterday…to a baseball game (the curve)…do you think he even knew the score..NOOOOOOOO…he walked around the entire time they were there basically…and what was he doing you ask…oh yes, scouting for girls! honestly, at 10…can’t you just sit and watching the game? are girls REALLY that important at 10? geesh…welp i should go for now…since i am at work and they do kinda pay me to do something out for now~kisses
