so thankful for hump day…

i am so glad this week is half over, i’m just worn out from it already. between stress and just rainy dreary days…i’m ready for SUN and WARM! friday and saturday are to be around 70 degrees and sunny…woo hoo!!! bring it on!

this is an art journal page i did for the newest prompt up at guttergirlz…you must go check it out! this page was such complete therapy for me, i really needed it. i’ve been missing my art journal pages lately and hope to get back into them soon.

this is a painting i completed last night for in my living room. i just adore how it turned out!!! i have a few little things to tweek but basically it is finished. sorry for the bad pic…i took it with my cell. there should also be new prompts up soon at dreamgirls and punk rock scrappers! so watch for those soon.
i also want to send a big birthday SHOUT OUT to one of my besties, michelle. she turns the big 3-0 today. 30 is SO not a big deal, in fact i think they kinda rock.

more sadness…

i found out early this morning that a friend of mine was killed this morning in a tragic accident. he was married and had a daughter. it’s horribly sad and i’m still beyond words. he was a man who was loved by all that knew him, it wasn’t possible to NOT love him if you knew him. he was larger than life. and he was just a heck of a nice man. there was just a small article on the news at noon. if you could please lift his family up in prayer i’m sure they would appreciate it.

monday…blech

i am not a fond admirer of mondays, not so much at all…and this one is no different. we just can’t seem to become friends. there are also days that this job rides my nerves just about as much as possible. today would be one of those days!
this is a pic of the kids right before we went to church yesterday morning. jade looked SO SO sweet in her dress. and i could just tell she felt so pretty. and mr joey, i didn’t realize until i looked at this just how much he had grown. in the fall he was only about half a head taller than jade…now he is a full head taller.

joe and i went on our “date day” saturday and it was AWESOME!!! we had such a good time…i just love reconnecting with that man. we went to altoona and did tons of shopping…and we ate dinner at outback (our FAV)…we made a few more stops on our way home. it was just a GREAT day. i took this pic of him outside the harley shop. bless his heart, he didn’t even bitch about me taking pictures there. and this is basically what he looks like in EVERY single pic. the only person that could ever get him to smile for pics was janine…jade and i had a quick impromptu photo shoot yesterday (we were bored)…we found a super cool new location near my house that worked out perfectly!!! here are a few of the shots from it…out for now~kisses
