hump day hellos

sooooo glad this week is half over…of course because the work week will be over but moreso because this weekend is to bring bits o’ sunshine…i am so so SO tired of rain, again, SO tired of it…it had rained for days and days and i’m totally over it.
we went to the wildlife show at the school last night…it was pretty good but the guys voice was totally annoying…and i’m not really so much for big birds flying over my head…i just always have visions of them shitting on my head…
so i’ve been loving on my art journal lately…and really getting into making tons of more pages for it…here is a quick one i did the other night…mostly because i had a HUGE desire to get painty and messy…

and lets talk biggest loser…i’m betting either tara or mike take it…and i’m TOTALLY hoping ron does NOT make it to the finale…he is one of the most annoying, back-stabbing, weasel-ish people there!!! and his son max, oh my heart goes out to him. you know he totally feels out of place and wants to lose the weight. i really really hope he does with his dad and brothers help.out for now~kisses

my surprise that is…i can FINALLY reveal it!!! i’m the guest dt at the creative type!!! can you even believe it?!?! super stoked, seriously…

i also have some seriously awesome other little crafty ventures going on…i am SO SO SO excited about one in particular and ya’all will be too once i tell ya…but i can’t just quite yet…but once i do, seriously, hold on to your ass…out for now~kisses

for not being too harsh on me…mondays are normally not my friend but today actually hasn’t kicked my ass…which is a nice change…

we had a GREAT weekend!!! friday night we went to altoona and had a nice family dinner at outback…i could not believe how dead the place was. usually it’s so packed you wait forever…then we did some shopping and i bought a new outfit at old navy…my first denim mini in YEARS! we got groceries then headed home…

saturday joe and joey went with the work group from the church so jade and i had a girls day, well more like a girls morning…we went out for breakfast and then home to scrap/create…we had a GREAT time!!! i worked on a painting i’m doing (on commission) for a guy i graduated with…i super ADORE how it’s turned out so far…saturday afternoon we went to a birthday party for joe’s mom (she turned 70)…we had an ok time although i’m not so much for a few of the people that were there…and spiteful things were done on purpose to make us feel out of place…but hey, at least joe’s mom had a good time!!! saturday evening we went to bob and bobbi’s and sat on their patio and enjoyed a fire and mountain pies…GREAT times!!!

sunday we spent the day at home…joe had thrown his back/hip out friday night and he wasn’t up to sitting in a pew at church…and jade has a bad cough/sore throat…so we staid home and nursed the sick…i made some quick pigs for dinner (YUM!)…and we hung out watching movies…a great end to a great weekend!
