we had such an awesome weekend, i was sad to see it come to an end…

friday i left work early and pampered myself with a mani/pedi…oh my goodness was it amazing!!! i think i might have to treat myself to a pedi more often…that night jade had her last night of bible school…joe, joey and i hung around the house, waiting on papa alan to get there…it was so nice to have an evening to just sit and relax and not have to rush around anywhere…papa got there around 8:30 and boy were the kids excited to see him, he didn’t get a moments peace…

we had a FAB time at the family reunion on saturday…papa alan, joey and i got there around 7 am to cover the tables with paper and start setting everything up…it turned out to be a beautiful day, lots of laughs and TONS of great food! i think everyone had a great time and i know grandma did, she didn’t even nap all day long…

also after the reunion joe and i went on our DATE NIGHT…oh we had sooooo much fun, i just adore reconnecting with that man! we ate at chilis, walked around the mall, went to a couple other stores and just basically drove around…it was just perfect!!

yesterday we left in the morning and went for chinese…the kids always always have chinese when papa is here…we then went to parker dam, the boys fished and jade and i swam…well jade swam and i worked on my tan 🙂 the rest of the day included a trip to walmart, 4wheeler ride, more fishing (and jade catching her FIRST fish), a tiny mini-date and just hanging out and enjoying each others company…
