weight loss *august*

this month i’ve lost 2 pounds…i certainly wish it came off as fast as it goes on, lol…but at this point i think it might get a *bit* easier as now the rest of the family is on the train with me…we are going on FAMILY walks/runs and eating healthy dinners as a FAMILY…totally makes it easier when there are 4 of you doing it instead of just 1…
i’ve also bumped up from just walking all the time to running/jogging about half my walk…and i’m amazed at what my body can handle!  joey is my running buddy {his body can handle WAY more than mine, lol}…we are hoping that by this time next summer we could possibly do a 5k as a family…
here is my pic for this month…taken at 6 am…which obviously makes me look a bit like a hot mess…
and the flash seems to really accentuate the bags under my eyes, nice…

we ♥ parades

finally…one of the posts i’ve been promising forEVER…the parade post
the first pic is from the curwensville parade weeks ago…i know i know, i seriously slacked on posting this…
this is MY fav part of each parade…all of the deere…and every SINGLE time i say to joe “someday i’ll get dads painted and we’ll be in the deere parade”…
the rest of the pics are from the clearfield fair parade…
you can see joey in the middle of the pic carrying a bass drum…with his little beret on…
i have to admit, for some reason he looked so grown up to me in this parade…and i got a little misty eyed…but i had to keep it together, jade was beside me…as she always says “don’t turn on the water works mama”…
oh the shriners…something i will never understand…i apprecaite EVERYthing they do, seriously, but i will never understand why they give elderly men with alzheimer’s 3 wheelers to ride through a crowd {nothing against elderly men, alzheimer’s or 3 wheelers, just don’t think they should be combined}…
this is always my FAV shriner float…the guy in the front always seems so happy to be doing his big dance and singing…
