christmas in pictures

i thought i would share a bit of our christmas…in pictures of course  🙂
miss jade and her new “foo foo” boots…i’m fairly sure for the past two months she has asked for new foo foo boots every.single.day.

so yeah, even on christmas he isn’t so much for getting his pic taken

i am a book-of-any-kind LOVER…so totally excited about all of these books

i adore these new slippers of miss jade…wish they were just a tad bigger that we could share them

we bought the animals christmas outfits…guess how excited ming was

total.HAPPY.day

today is my last day of work then i’m off for 5…can.not.WAIT! i’m planning on doing some cleaning, some laundry and LOTS of spending time with my littles…i think we’ll start our vaca off tonight with a MOVIE night…of our fav stupid humor movies…

meal planning monday

this weeks edition =)

monday – leftovers
tuesday – chicken and dumplings

wednesday – country style casserole (recipe below) and pull apart bacon bread

thursday – french onion pan rolls and zuppa toscana soup

friday – leftovers  🙂

saturday – hotdogs, pork and kielbasa cooked in sauerkraut with mashed potatoes

sunday – out to dinner

country style casserole

2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
1 package frozen, shredded hashbrowns
4 cups cubed cooked chicken or ham
3 cups sliced frozen carrots (optional)

in a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients.  stir in hash browns, chicken and carrot if desired.  transfer to a greased 13 x 9 baking dish.  cover and bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.  uncover, bake 15-20 minutes longer or until bubbly.
