Forever Beloved

Faith, Love & Truth

February 11, 2011

still feelin’ the love…

every day i think it isn’t possible to love this man anymore than i do…but whether it’s watching him interact with his kids (he is SUCH an awesome dad), him doing the dishes for me (without me even asking) or just looking at him (when he doesn’t know i am) something always happens that makes my heart swell and overflow with love…and in that instant i realize that i love him more every.single.day.

Let’s hold hands on the porch swing, under the moon
While the wind through the willows plays us a tune
We can lie on a blanket, out back in the yard
And wish for our future on a faraway star
You’ll feel the passion as time after time
I press your sweet lips to mine
Then we’ll dance to the radio, right up ’til dawn
‘Til you drift off to dream in my arms

15 years ago today i had my first date with this crazy man…i had no idea what to think of this {then} long hair and tattooed guy…he was funny like woah, he was wild but most of all he was so sincerely nice {which i was totally not use to from past relationships}…we went to pizza hut and hung out with friends, i remember it like it was yesterday…from that day on we spent as much time together as we could…and four months later we were married ♥

i love you babe…thanks for taking a chance and sitting in the snow that night  =)

prayers needed

if everyone could join me in lifting a little girl up in prayer it would be greatly appreciated…she is the granddaughter of a co-worker of mine…kayla is only 13 years old but has crohn’s disease horribly…yesterday they took her by ambulance to pittsburgh to run further tests and try to help her as much as they can…

about a year ago kayla had surgery to remove part of her intestine, it was such a painful surgery for a little girl to have to go through…recently they’ve been trying an IV treatment…she would get an IV every 2-3 weeks to try to help with her crohn’s but the IV treatments have now given her terrible arthritis…some days she even has trouble moving around…her disease has honestly taken over her life…she had to switch to cyber school because public school was just not an option with how bad her disease is…

please keep kayla in your prayers…she’s only 13, still a little girl, and having to endure things most of us as adults can’t even imagine…

thanks everyone  =)
