~*Monday Monday*~

Oh yes, it’s a typical Monday. Funny how they never seem to disappoint me, there is always some type of work stress somewhere in a Monday. I’m on my way to State College soon for a fun filled day of labeling boxes {snore}. At least we’ll get to eat lunch some place good.

I did manage to get some scrapping done this weekend. I finished all my assignments for Legacy Paper Arts design team! I am SO EXCITED that I got my assignments done and they were even early! I also finished my work for Jack & Jills February newsletter. Since I had my work done I figured it was time for some “fun scrapping”. Some scrapping just for ME!!! I am totally loving the December kit from Poppy Ink, those colors are so YUMMY! I just couldn’t help myself, every page I did included a little bit of that kit. You should see the sneak peak for Januarys kit, TOTALLY love it!!!

Only a week left till Christmas, yikes, I still haven’t done my wrapping. I am such a total procrastinator. I did manager to get my cookies made for the cookie exchange at work and Jades cookies for her party at school. I am SO not a baker!

9 more days :)

Only 9 more days till Christmas, whoo hooo!!!! I finished all the shopping last night (except for a few people who are super hard to buy for like Grandma). Now I have to wrap, ugh, not one of my favorite things to do. But I “might” be able to talk Mom into helping me.

We saw the craziest thing last night on the way home from Altoona. A car was behind us and a truck in front of us. I bet we were all doing close to 65. The car FLEW past us and right up on the ass of the truck in front of us. The car kept trying to pass it, on the left and the right. The truck kept swerving back and forth, not letting them pass. Then all of a sudden the truck slammed its brakes on. The car almost hit the truck and we had to swerve off the side of the road to avoid hitting them. The car hurried and passed the truck on the left BUT when the truck saw the car going around it he spun out and TRIED TO HIT THE CAR!!! Ok I’ve had road rage before, especially when I have PMS, but I’ve never tried to hit a car. It was crazy, the kids were scared to death and I was SO glad we wern’t in front of them. They took off like crazy chasing each other. We never did catch up to them.

Welp, off to finish our cleaning. MOM told me I have to dust today, ha ha.

Anyone else super excited it’s FRIDAY? I know I sure am. I’m sure Joe is now too (I will explain this later). Friday means a late night of scrapping, shopping, sleeping in a bit (or until Joey has me up at 7am), cooking a big meal, spending time with the family, relaxing around the house and finishing up my wrapping. And what could make a Friday better? PAYDAY!
Amongst all the excitment of this Friday I received a phone call from Joe….
Joe ~ Hi hun
Me ~ Hi, how are ya
Joe ~ Not too good, I have a statie behind me right now
Me ~ ::SIGH:: Oh Joe, what for now
Joe ~ 50 in a 35
Me ~ (eye roll) oh that’s GREAT Joe
Joe ~ but he isn’t going to write me up for speeding, just not obeying road signs
Me ~ wonderful..
After I got over the PURE JOY of that phone call, I received another one from Joe.
Joe ~ Hi I can’t talk long
Me ~ why
Joe ~ My truck slid off the tipper at the landfill
Me ~ ::SIGH:: Now what Joe?
Joe ~ I have to wait for them to bring an excavator and lift it off
Me ~ You need to just GO HOME and stay there today
