Conversations With My Kids

I absolutely adore the convo’s I have with my littles and my family. We laugh way more than we should. And Miss Jade, oh Miss Jade, always so innocent. I want to remember every single thing about our conversations {and let you enjoy them too}. That’s why I document them here. Someday, I’ll look back on these days and, with tears in my eyes, appreciate these times.

Jade: In class today we talked about the Siberian refugees.
Joey: What? Siberian huskees?
Jade: No, the refugees.
Joey: Siberian tigers?
Jade: I’m not saying it right, am I?

————————————————————————————–

Jade: I’m so hungry my spine hurts.

————————————————————————————–

Jade: These jeans make my butt look like the tree trunk the hobbits live in.

————————————————————————————–

Joey: I always get so emotionally attached to one family on Family Feud, and then they lose and break my heart.

————————————————————————————–

Jade: Want to see the soap we made in school?
Me: Sure!
Jade: But we can’t use it for a month or it will chemically burn our skin.

Convo’s with my Kids

I absolutely adore the convo’s I have with my littles {and family}. Normally, they have me in stitches. And Miss Jade, oh Miss Jade, always so innocent. I want to remember every single thing about our conversations {and let you enjoy them too}. That’s why I document them here!  Someday, I’ll look back on these days and, with tears in my eyes, appreciate these times.

————————————————————————————————————

Jade: I never know what to do with my tongue at the dentist. Do you lay it flat? Or stick it straight out? One time, I even accidentally licked the girls fingers when she was cleaning my teeth and then we made awkward eye contact.

————————————————————————————————————

Joey:  {taking Jades ipod} Now do a jig and I’ll give it back
Jade:  But Joey, I’m already exhausted from coming down in the elevator.

————————————————————————————————————

Me:  So are you excited to be a Junior this year?
Jade:  Noooo, I’m not ready to adult yet.  I still like my chicken noodle soup to have princess shaped noodles in it.

————————————————————————————————————

Joey:  What year did the Titanic set sail?
Jade:  1912
Joey:  How did you even know that?
Jade:  Because Grandma was born in 1916

————————————————————————————————————

Jade:  I’m so hungry that when I burp, it tastes like emptiness and the tears of small children

————————————————————————————————————

Joe + me:  Discussing thyroid issues
Jade:  Wait, your thyroid is in your throat?  I always thought it was in your thigh.

————————————————————————————————————

Joey:  Jade, slow down around this turn!  Hit your brakes!
Jade:  I thought you never hit your brakes when you went around a turn.

Jade: I get so hungry at school that my spine hurts.

————————————————————————————————————

Joey: A boy at school told me I should set my parents down and tell them I’m nearly 18, I should be allowed more freedom.
Me: What did you tell him?
Joey:  Have you ever met my parents?

————————————————————————————————————

Jade:  Sometimes I get prosecutors and prostitutes mixed up.

————————————————————————————————————

Jade:  Is Los Angeles in Nevada?

————————————————————————————————————

Jade:  Tell Joey to stop making me laugh when I’m mad at him.
