that was my status friday morning…and when i typed it i had no clue just how much i would lean on that throughout the day…
early friday morning i got up and worked out at home before work…while i was getting ready for work, i was stressing about my diet + weightloss (as usual) and i thought to myself “there is no way i can do this on my own, i know that already, so it’s time to just let go and let God handle it”…so early friday morning that is what i set my status to…
later in the morning my patience was truly tested by someone that knows exactly how to push my buttons and is a great manipulator…after a nice long talk with a very wise woman (who sets an amazing example of how a Christian woman should be) i again decided to let go and let God…
it was around 10:00 am friday that the big one hit…someone had found out my atm card number and used it to make many purchases including two plane tickets to sidney austrailia, boat parts, something from boat trader in virginia beach and two versions of mcafee…and my check that had been deposited on friday was infact totally gone…i could have gotten horribly mad and taken a fit BUT instead i decided to let go and let God…i had so many people at work tell me “you are taking this so much better than i would, i would be furious”…but as i told them, getting furious would only ruin my day…the people that stole from me wouldn’t be affected by it at all…
i had no idea just how much those five words would mean to me on friday…and how they would carry me through…it was a great lesson learned and one i hope to apply to every day life from now on 🙂
