weekend recap {with pics}

aahhhhh what a wonderful weekend we had!!! the only bad thing i could say about it is it went by too quick, but don’t they all?

friday after work joe and i went to the funeral home…then i was off to do some easter shopping…then home for dinner and to sit with grandma while my mama went to the funeral home with aunt faye…finished the night off by sitting in my jammies watching medium with the fam (and falling asleep in the chair)…

saturday morning we all got up and headed down to joes moms house, the boys have been busy cleaning it out…we got a truck load and brought it home, carried it all in and got it situated…then we all got cleaned up and headed off to altoona…we went to outback first (oh, you know how i love outback)…then we went to target, joey bought himself a bike with his easter money and we bought jade THE cutest bedroom set EVER…it’s a nature set (owls, squirrels, acorns, trees), i love it so much that i would totally do my bedroom in it if joe would allow me (he said NO, btw)…we then went to the mall, jade had easter money to spend and spent it VERY wisely…

we had such a wonderful easter (even though we missed papa)…jade had me up at 4:30 a.m. asking about getting up for her basket, lol…the kids enjoyed every single thing they got…

joey got straight to eatting his candy…and before church had ate his entire chocolate bunny, all his peanut butter eggs AND his cream eggs…where does that boy put it all???

i was SO happy when i found this “lolly” cookie for miss jade, an OWL can you believe it…i also found marshmallow squirrels, owls, chicks and bunnies…cutest thing ever!

jade used her own money yesterday to buy her dad and joey easter presents (she hand made mine)…joey told me he wanted a 6 pack of soda so jade bought him one, a 6 pack of soda CANDY, lol…

this is what jade made me…it was a handmade box made out of cardboard and paper with this note inside it…she made it for me to take to work and every time i miss her i can open it and get a little of her love…how SWEET is that!?!?! bless her heart, i love this gift more than anything she ever could have bought me!
