*update on amanda*

i received this email today, forwarded on to me from my aunt:

With cautious excitement, I’m pleased to tell you that Amanda has survived removal of her breathing tube today. Against all odds, she is breathing on her own, maintaining a clear airway and that wonderful heart is beating vigorously (now over 12 hrs). We are still far from “out of the woods” and continue to live day by day, moment by moment. She continues to overcome some extremely severe circumstances. We hope and pray for some type of recovery or else the MRI was inaccurate. Only time will tell and we are thankful every minute to be able to hold her hand and kiss her warm cheek. Thank you all for the support. I’ll keep you posted.
